How does Truecaller work?

How does Truecaller work?

Email

Have you ever wondered if you call someone from an unknown number, they may know who calls them via the most popular caller identification app Truecaller. But how do they actually find the right owner for a particular phone number along with their location and address. Well many people may think that they have a tie up with the cell phone networks and ISPs and they provide Truecaller authority with the database for every number. And this concept is completely false.

Let’s start from the beginning when you install the Truecaller app on your phone. As soon as you start the app, it demands some device permissions such as Storage, Contacts, Messages and Location. After you have given all those permissions, you login with your existing Truecaller account or create a new one or sign in with other social platforms such as Google or Facebook. And then all the contacts on your phone along with their address and email ID immediately gets uploaded on the Truecaller server under your account. All of the data are end-to-end encrypted and even the Truecaller Official Personnels can’t access them. The world has millions of Truecaller users and hence there are billions of contacts in their servers. Whenever someone calls you from an unknown number, the Truecaller app searches the number among billions other number in the server and if it finds any or multiple match, it shows the contact name, address and if possible their present location. That doesn’t mean you will get their actual name all the time. It shows the name by which the user had saved the number. As an example, when I searched my mother’s number in Truecaller, it showed the name “Elder Aunt” as one of my cousins who uses Truecaller saved my mother’s number with that name. Truecaller found the results from my cousins account database and showed me exactly that. So basically it does have some drawbacks and it has to be done in real time. Other drawbacks are that your internet connection whether mobile data or Wi-Fi must be turned on for the app to send and receive contact data. In terms of multiple results, it finds out most common, most relevant and the text that mostly resembles as an actual name rather than “Elder Aunt”.

And about the location it shows, which is seldom correct. If the unknown number owner uses Truecaller and he has his Internet and Location service both turned on, then only you will get his actual location. And in India this is a real headache as your mobile data automatically drops down to 3G or H+ when you receive a call without VoLTE. In this case Truecaller app struggles to fetch data with the slower and high latency internet connection.

Then what happens when you don’t want to use Truecaller service anymore? What happens to your contact data then? Well you can opt out any time from this service and there’s an option for this in the app. As soon as you close your account, Truecaller database permanently erases all your contact data that had been stored under your account along with any backup data you created, your call history and your search history.

So back to the summary then, you create a Truecaller account, your contacts gets uploaded securely to their servers, if there’s a request for a search the servers look up for the number, if it finds any relevant data it sends back to your phone showing the most relevant identity of the caller and you enjoy your day away from any fraud calls or spam. Even when your wicked friend tries to prank you from an unknown number. And if you delete your account, Truecaller will protect your privacy and permanently erase all your data that had been stored under your account. And finally, you are safe to go.

Wanna get rid of introvercy?

Email

“Sorry, got some work. Can’t make it to the party. ”
“I’m really busy. Can we meet next weekend? ”
“I shouldn’t be here. I have to leave now.”
“This shop is too crowded for me.”
Ever spoken some of these words? Awesome! Join the club. Yeah…I know what you’re thinking. “What’s awesome in this?” Everything is awesome about this so called world of INTROVERTS. You probably aren’t reading this to know what you already know so, let’s prove you wrong (though most people don’t really like it). I swear I am not drunk. This article IS for you.
In a world with 7,577,130,400 humans, belonging to a group which contains only 25-40% of people is awesome (fortunately, the irritating ones aren’t included). Not having to go to a party to celebrate is awesome. Not requiring a lot of things for happiness is awesome. Not needing anyone else to spend your time with is not only awesome but also mind blowing.
By the way, two of above mentioned excuses are my favourite. You got it right. You are reading an article on how to get rid of introvercy written by an introvert herself. Let me tell you why, because this article includes personal experience which you won’t find anywhere. I mean, what’s even the point of it being written by an extrovert? It is as connatural as existence of humans and aliens together. If you are thinking why I’m still an introvert, enlightening you on how not to be one, keep reading. “Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet”, dear.
Here I am, presenting before you, tips on how to remove the introvert tag and join exposed world of extroverts-
• Ask yourself if change is what you want. No one can stop you if YOU permit yourself for it.
• Develop a confident body language.
• Practice eye contact. Dare yourself to look into the eyes of at least three strangers daily. Increase the count once you develop the habit.
• Try changing your company. Hanging out with people you want to become like works best. If you can’t do that, follow them on social media.
• Make use of every opportunity you get, however small it may be. Speak up. Tell others you do care.
• Know that you have no less knowledge than others. Student, employee, housewife, whatever you are, try putting your points in front of others.
• Stop saying “NO”. Be open to social meet ups and dynamic lifestyle.

Just reading is not enough. Remember, “No one will believe in you unless you do.” It all depends on how bad you want it. Ask yourself, “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?” Keep practicing. Do it for yourself and no one else. Results will follow.
Why I didn’t change my habits?
I love being how I am. The qualities an introvert has can never be found in an extrovert. The reverse isn’t true. Whatever you do, never let your old self die. Be yourself. Don’t seek satisfaction elsewhere.
Happy reading!

100 years of Indian Cinema

100 years of Indian Cinema

Email

With lots of emotions and feelings towards the Indian Cinema from the people of India shows how much they are attached to a dramatic fiction which is shown in a television .Extensive devotion they give to the Indian cinema is the reason which changes their mindset and give them the hope to never give up .Since the starting of the era of movies in India has always been a type of motivation to the people, by their contents and some of the spiritual dialogues which just make a separate space in mind of people.
Since these early beginnings India’s film industry has continued to flourish, growing in popularity, size and reach. In one way we can say that Indian Cinema has given Indians everything like it gives us a spirit of becoming the good character in the movie and like the character help the needy ones or give hope to someone who is very frustrated in his life.Today we can see that people don’t have time to even wait and smile and just in that case a entertaining movie containing a comedy scene makes their day.Indian people are so devoted to Indian Cinema that they just need a glimpse of an actor or actress working in the movies to make them feel lucky and also a great memory entire their life; they can never forget that day. In some places in India the actor or the actress of a movie is also worshipped. In the late 1920s the British government tried to promote UK film in India in an attempt to overtake the growing American cinema, and created the Indian Cinematograph Enquiry Committee. This programme failed with this aim however, with the committee favouring Indian produced films; it seemed that nothing could stop the growth of this national movement. This shows how much we respect and are devoted towards Indian Cinemas. The Indian film industry stands above most other national cinemas due to its local focus yet enormous size.In all the 100years we learnt so many things from Indian Cinema; which included so many ups and downs but the craze of people of India to the cinemas never got less.In the 100 years since, Indian films – which include Bollywood productions – have become a cinematic phenomenon watched by millions of people around the world regardless of their religion or background. And this is the main reason for the success of Indian Cinema.

CINEMA BLEND

Email

India’s film industry is one of the oldest and largest in the world. Indian film received a public screening in the early 1913. While a number of other film-makers, working in several Indian languages, pioneered the growth and development of Indian cinema, the studio system began to emerge in the early 1930s.
Hundred years of Indian Cinema:
Cinema is extremely popular in India, with as many as 1,500 films produced in various languages every year. Indian cinema is a global enterprise. Its films have a following throughout Southern Asia and across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, China and elsewhere, reaching in over 90 countries. It’s been over hundred years, yet the fascination for movies has not faded for a nation that holds billions of Indians. World’s first motion picture was made in 1912 and barely around a year later India’s first motion picture “Raja Harishchandra” was produced and released.

Women who changed face of the Indian Cinema:
When we study about the immensely rich history of the Indian cinema, we read about the unwavering who were mostly male. But, over the past few centuries or so, several women have become pioneers in their own right, thus paving the path for other women. A few such women include the iconic actress Nargis, who became the first woman to win a National Award for her role in the 1967 film Raat Aur Din. Born Nirmala Nagpal, Saroj Khan is the first female choreographer and has choreographed more than 2,000 songs. Fatma Begum, the first female director, established her own production house, Fatma Films. She wrote, directed, produced, and even acted in several of the films under her banner. She was not just the first female director, but was also one of the pioneers of fantasy cinema.

Essence of a great script:
One needs to believe in their story with all their heart to make it worth telling. The process of getting a screenplay ‘thumbs-up’ is extremely time-taking and full of rejection, that the writer has to consistently go back to the seed of his inspiration. And everyone in that fraternity has a fairly set view on what works and what does not. That’s why only the bravest writers, most convinced of their story, manage to avoid the pitfalls that come with early collaborations. They trust their diligence and their stories.

Importance of the film being a success:
Success of a film depends on various entities namely director, the actors, the way in which  the the film is promoted, etc. Success of a film is decided by the friday that it is released on, The incoming revenue that would otherwise be large, would slow down incase two films clash on the same day. The film being a success is also directly proportional to the success of the protagonist of the film.

10 BEST GROOMING TECHNIQUES FOR THIS MONSOON SEASON

10 BEST GROOMING PRODUCTS FOR THIS MONSOON SEASON
What do you think of monsoons? Do you like the joy of soaking in the rain or do you irk about the idea of getting messed up before your day starts in the office? It is rather a contradictory opinion. Isn’t it? Even though monsoon is the season of love and enjoyment it can bring along some skin abnormalities and hair problems caused by the humidity, dirt and pollution. Thus, it needs the best care possible. Here are the ten must-have products and methods that you could do to take care of your skin and hair and feel confident, healthy and happy, even in the monsoons.

1. NEEM FACE WASH:
Cleansing is one of the important skin routines. Neem face wash is best considered for the skin suffering from pimples. Acne is the sole problem for oily skin types. Cleansing two times a day can be helpful to get the dirt out of your skin. If you are a dry skin type, cleaning your face once can be enough just to avoid any torn skin or rashes. If you want to use the face wash twice, you can apply it on your t-zone. Himalaya Neem Face wash is good enough for your skin.

2. ALOE VERA GEL:
Aloe vera gel is very helpful and can be the healing solution for acne and avoids blackheads. Do not apply moisturiser directly on your face. First, apply some aloe vera gel and then on top of that, you can apply the moisturiser. Make sure to not apply way too much of aloe vera gel as extending the limit can harsh to your skin. Aloe Vera gel by Patanjali is the most preferred by the consumers. If you’re looking for other suggestions then Blossom Kochhar is also a great choice and very effective.

3. MOISTURISER:
Moisturiser is one of the other important daily skin routines. Yet, knowing the amount that is supposed to be applied on your face can be tricky because applying too much of moisturiser can be harmful. For dry skin type generic moisturiser from Johnson’s or VLCC Honey Moisturiser is great. For oily skin, oil-free moisturiser from Blossom Kocchar can do wonders.

4. CHARCOAL FACE MASK:
Blackheads are the roots of acne. It takes its forms inside your skin pores and if not taken care in time then it can turn into acne. The reason behind the blackheads is humidity, sweat and dirt. The charcoal face mask is very effective in pulling out all the blackheads from your face. Even though there is readymade charcoal face mask available in the market, a homemade solution can be more effective for your skin. All you got to do is follow these simple steps:
• Take two charcoal tablets (you can get it from any nearby pharmacy which is going to cost you around Rs. 2 per tablet) and crush it into the form of powder.
• Add the crushed charcoal with some aloe vera gel and a face mask, like Everyuth. (you can use the face mask which you think is more preferable and suitable for your skin)
Before applying the mask, steam your face with some with the wet towel dipped in hot water. After that, you can apply the face mask and wait until it dries up. While taking the mask out you can notice the blackheads coming out of your face stuck in the layer of the mask, especially the t-zone. In the end, massage your face with some ice cube wrapped in a piece of cloth or a clean handkerchief because ice can help to close the skin pores where the blackheads occur. Remember to apply this mask only on your oily parts of the face. Doing this three times a week can get you a face free of blackheads.

5. BODY LOTION:
Skin is the largest organ of our body. Not only the face skin but the remaining body skin also needs care. You can go for some ayurvedic companies like Rose and Jasmine Body Moisturiser from Kama Ayurveda. There is also a hand lotion available in Kama Ayurveda, after all, who doesn’t want soft and smooth hands this season! Products from Kama Ayurveda can be a bit expensive but if you’re looking for something more affordable then you would prefer using body lotion from Himalaya or VLCC.

6. STAY HYDRATED:
Water is the most important and effective source for anything everything in our body. Drinking at least 2-3 litres of water every day is a must for healthy and glowing skin. Coconut water can also help in the nourishment and making your skin pure and healthy.

7. WET FACE WIPES:
Well, carrying wet wipes in weather like this is a safe option for anyone. Or else who knows when a speedy car comes hitting that dirty puddle on your face! The most preferred wet wipes are from Innisfree, L’Oreal Paris, and Himalaya and of course Johnson’s Baby. Wet wipes can be very effective or useful for outdoors this season as it helps in cleansing your face when you’re working out somewhere for long.

8. HAIR OIL:
It is monsoon time. It is quite obvious that your hair is going to get messy with the rain and sweat. It gets oily within 2 days. It is suggested that you should wash and oil your hair at least 3 times a week. The best oil suggested for hair oiling is coconut oil of course. But if you’re looking for something new and something more effective and better you can try sesame oil. It is available in Kama Ayurveda. If you’re looking for more affordable one then there is Morpheme Organic Sesame Oil.

9. HAIR SHAMPOO:
Cleaning your scalp regularly this season is a must. Always make sure to comb and detangle your hair before step into the shower to shampoo. If you shampoo your hair while it’s tangled and it has more chance for breakage and hair fall. And if you’re looking for an appropriate shampoo for your hair, well then who knows about your hair better than you. Khadi has a good hair shampoo and cleansing products. Whatever hair problem you’re dealing with you can look for shampoo in Khadi. It’s great and more suggested.

10. BODY WASH:
After all, who doesn’t want a good and a refreshing shower if you come back home messed up in rain or sweat? The Body Shop’s Strawberry Shower Gel is going get you like… Then there is Patanjali’s body wash, very refreshing and a very soothing aroma and smell.

Wishing, to all the monsoon lovers, a very happy monsoon and happy everything. And to the readers who aren’t fond of the rainy season don’t forget to carry your umbrellas and raincoats and wet wipes and body mists.
