In the era of 1960s, many wives started starving their husband’s stomach to make themselves affordable to buy those new trends like bell hands, bell bottoms, puff hands, pattu sarees, long middies, short middies, etc., As western breezes effected us a lot.
When I was in my 9th standard tired of wearing those boring uniforms mom sewed a dress out of her old saree(pattu saree). As I was being a fashion kid(so-called) I straightly refused to wear saying that all my friends will start mocking, as I got admired to those beautiful skirts and long kali’s.
When we come to ‘Perception’, this perception may change by time to time. Mine changed, In fact whole world’s got changed.let us not beat around the bush. Now, talking about the lifestyle of every lady being since the 1900s to now.
Let’s get back to those beautiful olden days where our moms, great grandmothers used to wear their dresses and how it slowly changed in a very systematic way.

Since we might have seen these bell hands in those olden golden movies, these have become a great trend now.
I love to wear Puff sleeves especially on those lehengas and choli(southern India will be knowing better). It has left a typical remark in those days making blouses beautiful to sarees.
Polka Dot Dresses for semi-formal dresses. In the early era of the 1920s these dresses captured everyone’s heart and the driven look was founded on. From disco dance to
Title songs this aroused many hearts interest again.
In the era of 1960s these Bell Bottoms which are bell-like shape trousers that are wider from the knees
below attracted like anything.
Most important one and which is admired by everyone now.
In my childhood, I used were this type of dresses(Langa voni or pattu lehenga)And now it became a royal trend.
