Mi Band 4 lunch ahead in India

Ahead of the official launch rumors and leaks already revealed a lot about the fourth generation Mi Band and the successor to the last year’s Mi Band 3. The Mi Band 4 is smarter, much stylish than predecessors’ smart bands from Xiaomi and despite all the advancements it comes at a much affordable price. For now, Mi Band 4 has been launched in China for starting price of RMB 169, which roughly translates to Rs 1700. The Mi Band 4 comes in several funky and cool colors. As the rumors suggested the outer look of the Mi Band 4 appears almost like the Mi Band 3. The Mi Band 4 comes with a rubber band like the Mi Band 3 but includes much bigger and also colored OLED display. This is for the first time that Xiaomi has used colored display in a Mi Band. There are slight changes within the Mi Band four style in comparison to the Mi Band three just like the charging pins sit on all-time low rather than prime. Overall, particularly in terms of fitness options, the Mi Band 4 is a much-upgraded version of the Mi Band 3. The Mi Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touch-enabled screen that offers resolution of 240 x 120p. The screen of the Mi Band four is protected with a layer of two.5D curved glass on top. The screen of the Mi Band 4 is capable of showing several kinds of notifications like SMSs, WhatsApp messages, fitness details, among other things. Similar to the Mi Band three, the new Mi Band 4 also comes with heart rate sensor and several tracking features, but this time they are way more improved. The Mi Band four comes with many fitness options like step enumeration, sleep monitoring, among other things. Similar to the Mi Band 3 the Mi Band 4 is also capable of detecting several activities like running, jogging, cycling, among others. The Mi Band 4 comes packed with an upgraded six-axis sensor which detects different swimming activities such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley. Xiaomi has launched NFC version of Mi Band 4 and a non-NFC version of the smart band. The NFC model of the Mi Band lets users make mobile payments.
Water resistant: This feature comes from Mi Band 3 to Mi Band 4. The fourth generation Mi Band comes with 5ATM rating for water resistance. This suggests the Mi Band 4 can sustain water droplets and splashes but this doesn’t mean the band can survive if dipped in a bucket of water for a long time.
Battery: Xiaomi claims the Mi Band 4 can deliver 20 days battery life on a single charge.
Overall, the Mi Band 4 seems like a great upgraded over the Mi Band 3 in terms of both design and features and this makes it worth the wait. Xiaomi India hasn’t revealed any details about the India launch of the Mi Band 4 but going by the last one year we expect Mi Band 4 to hit the Indian market soon, possibly in a month or so.
